Everyone is a Mentor
How we turned a book into an interactive training on mentoring and social interactions.
Challenge
Steven de Lira, founder of Gide-Nuhs and author of the book Everyone is a Mentor, asked us to turn his book into an engaging online training. He wanted the training to help learners apply the knowledge from the book in practice. The training needed to be in Dutch and it was to be hosted on an online learning platform, so that it could be sold separately to individuals and companies.
Development
First, we read the book and held several interviews with Steven. We then turned his knowledge into a first outline of the training. Once the video scripts were approved, we shot all 18 videos for the training including an unscripted interview. Finally, we edited and assembled all the content in one full training. We then configured and translated the online platform to be able to run the training effectively.
Solution
We delivered a diverse, interactive and modern online training of about 120 minutes, hosted on a versatile and fully-configured online platform. The training includes a fillable online worksheet that encourages learners to take notes and apply their knowledge. The training and all visuals are 100% on-brand, while being fit for a diverse audience from young to seasoned professionals.
