Data Handling at Schneider Electric
How we taught the basics of data handling in an immersive, fun and impactful way.
Challenge
Schneider Electric asked us to create an engaging e-learning experience that would teach every single employee the basics of data handling including the associated risks. The learning experience needed to be fully accessible (WCAG 2.2), diverse and inclusive, with special versions for office workers and employees in factories.
Development
We developed an interactive, video-based story for both office and factory workers. The story develops differently based on someone’s answers, so we developed nearly 30 minutes of extra, personalized content. We even 3D-printed a one-of-a-kind “secret agent” badge! After delivering the English version, we translated the course into 16 additional languages.
Solution
In the final e-learning, learners are recruited into a fictional, secret organization called the Data Guardians Initiative. Together with their handler (Mr. B.), an AI companion (Lyra) and lots of high-tech gadgets, learners complete missions to save the company from harm, achieve their “secret agent” badge and unlock secrets such as the bloopers video below.
Let’s make mental lemonade!
We turn expertise into online learning-experiences that feel fresh, unique and engaging. We use the latest teaching techniques and technologies and cater to any budget.
Special mentions
We developed this project in collaboration with a great people from Schneider Electric, Gladwell Academy, Verdonck, Klooster & Associates and Holland Park Media. In particular, we want to thank Muhammad Hamza from Schneider Electric for his dedication to this project and giving us the trust to try something far outside of the ordinary. This allowed us to create a truly unique and impactful learning experience.
