Agile Leadership at Schneider Electric

How we taught Agile soft skills to leaders through a gamified and video-based learning experience.

Challenge

Schneider Electric asked us to create an impactful e-learning that would teach all leaders inside the company how to lead in an Agile way. Afterwards, leaders should be able to adjust their leadership behavior accordingly. Additionally, the learning experience needed to be fully accessible (WCAG 2.2) and highly engaging.

Development

We developed a 45-minute training with three main challenges based on real-life situations leaders may encounter while transitioning to an Agile way of working. Depending on how well leaders do in each challenge, they could unlock achievements. Each achievement unlocks a video with a best practice shared by a fellow leader working at Schneider Electric.

Solution

With an average course rating of 4.8 out of 5, the feedback on this training by leaders was overwhelmingly positive. Because of this, it was sent out to over 8000 people instead of the 2000 people it was made for originally. After delivering the English version, we translated the course and made it fully accessible in five additional languages.
